HumBuzz Live Pack is a versatile collection of 86 surprising Ableton Racks.
The source material was created by capturing the electromagnetic fields emited by fridges, microwaves, boilers, cellphones, TVs and computer components.
Like all modern electronics these devices produce a complex mixture of noises that cover wide frequency ranges. But surprisingly often one can find tonal elements that fit into usefull scales.
Therefore HumBuzz not only contains hum and buzz but also thick pads, leads, bells and keys that do not deny it´s origin but are perfect in tune.
Also included are many start-up and boot noises applicable for event-driven foleys, scoring or interface design.

The files were created by capturing the electromagnetic fields of fridges, microwaves, boilers, cellphones, TVs and computers.
These devices emit a complex mixture of noises that often cover huge frequency ranges and therefore offer an inspiring resource for event-driven foleys, scoring or interface design.
Surprisingly many of the sounds contain strong tonal elements that can be filtered out and pitched into usefull scales.
So even tuned instruments are just some tiny tweaks away.
